Welcome to National Toastmasters

Welcome to the cyber home of National Toastmasters Club. We are a public speaking club in Sydney CBD with a long and distinguished history since 1979. The club is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit world wide educational organisation with a mission to improve public speaking and leadership skills of its members. As of 2019, Toastmasters International has approximately 358,000 members in over 16,800 clubs, in 143 countries.

National Toastmasters Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. Our Club meets at the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel's level 1 meeting room, but since the outbreak of COVID-19 we have become a hybrid club with members and guests participating both online and in person. Meetings start at 6.15pm sharp and normally finish around 8:30pm. First time visitors should contact the Club's local Executives to ascertain on-line meeting details.

Our club welcomes anyone who is interested in improving their public speaking/communication and/or leadership skills. Each club meeting is entertaining, educational and enjoyable. For more information about the club see the For Visitors section. You are also welcome to browse through this site to find out more about us.

Our club members come from all walks of life and range from beginners in public speaking to those who have had many years experience, have won speech contests and have represented Australia in international speech contests. For any enquiries, please email our Vice President Public Relations, Matt Gregorowski on info@nationaltoastmasters.org or contact our President, Jono Bayer on president@nationaltoastmasters.org.
