Welcome to National Toastmasters
Welcome to the cyber home of National Toastmasters Club. We are a public speaking club in Sydney CBD with a long and distinguished history since 1979. The club is part of Toastmasters International, a non-profit world wide educational organisation with a mission to improve public speaking and leadership skills of its members. As of 2015, Toastmasters International has approximately 332,000 members in over 15,400 clubs, in 135 countries.
National Toastmasters Club meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at the Castlereagh Boutique Hotel's level 1 meeting room. The street address is 169 Castlereagh St. Meetings commence at 6.15pm sharp and normally finish around 8:30pm.
Our club welcomes anyone who is interested in improving their public speaking/communication and/or leadership skills. If you wish to visit the club we request that you arrive at 6pm so that we can properly welcome you, get you seated and provide further information. Our club members come from all walks of life and range from beginners in public speaking to those who have had many years experience, have won speech contests and have represented Australia in international speech contests.
